Welcome Break has revolutionised its entire in-store payments system to improve speed of service to customers. Previously, the company’s point-of-sale and payment systems were not integrated, resulting in slow transactions, long queues and purchase abandonment. Further, daily reconciliation was slow and prone to human error which resulted in reporting inaccuracies.
For this award winning project Welcome Break turned to Vodat International and selected STS’ G8:Enterprise Merchant Solution. Vodat provide fast broadband communications and a PCI compliant EFT payment system to Welcome Break. David Willock, IT Director of Welcome Break received the award at a gala dinner held on the 14th November at the Millennium Hotel in Mayfair, London in front of almost 300 of his industry peers.
