Global retailers and application providers are the big winners from STS' recent partnership announcement with Alaric.
Alaric, a leading supplier of advanced technology payments products and services, has chosen STS' new EFT application, G8way, to integrate into its Authentic product - a modern EFT authorisation and routing system for merchants, acquirers and issuers of credit, debit, prepaid and private label cards. Specifically targeted at the card payments market, Alaric is now able to deliver its highly configurable payment technology directly to the merchant and service provider community, while enhancing existing customers who already include large global financial processors and institutions.
The combination of G8way and Authentic provides global merchants with the capability of having one centralised application for their global payments requirements. With both G8way and Authentic written in Java, they provide full platform independence and the scalability to meet the needs of the largest global merchants.
"We chose Alaric due to the unique product capabilities of its Authentic product, particularly the leading messaging capabilities provided by Message Mapper. This allows us to provide both our retailers and application providers one standard interface but still meet the individual market requirements across each geography.
"Alaric's strength in the North American market and significant experience in the financial services sector will combine well with STS' exposure to European retailers" said Cameron Olsen, Vice President of Business Development at STS.
Steve Lomax, Sales and Marketing Director, Alaric, said "We are very impressed with STS' unique offering. G8way allows us to deliver sophisticated payment solutions specifically tailored to customers' needs, ensuring they retain complete control of their payments system and allowing them to fully maximize their investment."
Alaric's existing customers include First Data International, Euronet Worldwide, Telecash, Corner Banca, Aduno, Swisscard and Ukash.
